Shanna Collins The main reason I chose Arkansas Tech University was because of the amazing music department. The day I auditioned and listened to the university choir at Tech for the first time, I knew that it was the place for me. I have a passion to teach children how to read and sing music, so I declared Vocal Music Education as my major. The helpful faculty and friendly faces around campus made my transition to college much easier and a lot of fun. The best advice I could give incoming freshmen would be to always believe in yourself and never give up.
