Admissions Checklists: International Undergraduate Applicants
Age Requirement Information
All international applicants must be at least 18 years of age by the end of their first semester. For Fall applicants, you must turn 18 by January 1st after your first semester. For Spring applicants, you must turn 18 by June 1st after your first semester. Please do not submit an application for admission for a term in which you do not meet the age requirements. | Submit academic records showing completion of secondary education equivalent to 12 years of U.S. High School | |
| Submit evidence of English Proficiency (if you are visa seeking) | |
| Entrance Exam Scores
Have your ACT, SAT, or ACCUPLACER scores sent to Arkansas Tech University (if you have them). Students admitted without scores will be required to take the ACCUPLACER exam on campus at their own expense before registering for courses. | |
| Submit evidence of sufficient Financial support. (if you are visa seeking) - This may be submitted AFTER admission if needed. | |
| Submit a copy of your valid passport. It cannot be expired. (if you are visa seeking) |

| Submit all prior and current college transcripts | |
| IF YOU HAVE FEWER THAN 24 COLLEGE CREDIT HOURS EARNED:
Students with fewer than 24 semester hours of earned college-level credit must also submit a high school transcript or the equivalency of a US high school transcript and diploma. | |
| IF YOU HAVE FEWER THAN 60 COLLEGE CREDIT HOURS EARNED:

| Submit evidence of English Proficiency:*
Transfer students requiring student visas who have taken English Composition I and II with a grade of C or better from US colleges/universities will be marked English Proficient. Students who do not meet this requirement must submit English Proficiency scores.
