Upward Bound Alumni Society
The Upward Bound Alumni Society was established in the fall semester of 2006. The Alumni Society is composed of students who have successfully completed an Upward Bound program and are enrolled at Arkansas Tech University. The goals of this student led organization are:
Provide a network of social and professional support;
Further heighten public awareness of the needs of disadvantaged students;
Provide recognition of achievement to former Upward Bound participants;
Provide a mechanism for former Upward Bound participants to voice support for federal, state, and local legislation
